What is Vitamin K2?

Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin, a derivative of naphthoquinone group with phylloquinone biological activity,

 and one of the important vitamins that are indispensable to the human body.

Due to the different lengths of the side chain structure of vitamin K2, 14 types of vitamin K2 are formed.

 At present, commercial vitamin K2 is mainly vitamin K2 (MK-4) and vitamin K2 (MK-7).

MK-4 is mainly found in animal products, including animal offal, egg yolk and animal fats. 

 MK-7 mainly comes from fermented foods, especially natto.
